• Lead times will fluctuate depending on our work load. But to give you something to go by, you can expect 6-8 weeks.

Bespoke projects: This is a journey that can stretch from a few weeks to months or even years depending on the scale and complexity of the project. Don’t worry, we never rush things and you have more than enough contact time with us to make sure you’re more than happy with each stage.

  • Free UK Delivery is included with all furniture bought through our online shop, more information on delivery can be found here. Installation of such products is very simple. Unpack, recycle the packaging, position the item in your room and enjoy. If you require any help with this, contact us directly and we can arrange this.

For Bespoke Projects, delivery & installation is often part of the package but is decided on during the starting stages of your Bespoke Journey.

When we are in your home or work space, we work in a professional and friendly manner, always making sure to be clean and tidy.

Everything we create can be designed and installed in such a way that they can be easily removed. Therefore it can be taken to a new home if and when you up sticks.

  • Yes. We are visual communicators and will show you drawings, sketches, models and examples as part of the consultation process. This process allows you to explore your vision, view possibilities new to you, ask questions and consider your options.

These are then developed into accurate 3 dimensional digital renders and schematic drawings. This stage of the journey is explained here.

  • Browse our portfolio, visit our social media pages (Instagram) or simply come to our workshop! Here you can see and handle some examples.

Because our work is built using a variety of materials, a hands on experience is always important when making decisions. Mixing and matching qualities helps build the project you desire. You’re more than welcome to take examples away with you and put them in the space or context they are intended for.

  • When purchasing furniture through our online shop or in person, full payment is due upon purchase.

With Bespoke projects, we don’t ask for any payments until after you have received our Estimation Document. This contains every bit of information about the project we know at this stage, including choice of materials, layout, design, colours and of course - an estimation of the cost and details of the booking fee.

  • We are extremely proud to have gathered many 5 star reviews from our previous clients and online customers.

You can see the reviews for yourself here.

  • We partner with Plant 1 Cornwall and commit to planting at least 1 local Cornish tree with every online order & donate 5% of our profits from each bespoke project. Read more here.

We promise to only use recycled ocean plastic in our work. To make this possible, we established a partnership with Behaviour Change Cornwall. They provide us with the recycled ocean plastic, in various colours, that we use in our furniture.

  • Our business values are very important to us so when sourcing materials, we do so in the most sustainable way possible.

Timber and plywood’s are always FSC, and always sourced locally where possible. Where possible, we use reclaimed materials. Most of the waste we create is re-used too. Read more here.

  • Any waste produced during production is kept and re-used where possible. More often than not, we use our off-cuts building up our inlay composite.

When waste cannot be reused, we’re committed to disposing of it in the most responsible way possible. Read more about this in our values.

  • In short, no, they won’t. We employ a great design process that is based on material research.

Plywood is a material that exhibits very stable mechanical properties under normal conditions of temperature and moisture. It is the substrate material used in our products because we can reliably set our composite inlay into it, or laminate over it, confident that it will not not warp or deform in any noticeable way.

When viewing our products, you can read information about their reasonable limitations. For instance, don’t leave outside or in direct sunlight. This allows you to know if your chosen product is appropriate for the environment you would like it to live in.

However, if you have any doubts, we are at the end of a phone or e-mail and can discuss any concerns. Infact, when discussing bespoke projects, if we felt that your desired materials and environment were problematic, we would suggest and explore alternative approaches to material and design.

We will only produce high quality.

  • Plywood is an incredibly robust and stable timber based sheet material. It exhibits excellent machining properties. This ensures that our decorative processes are executed with intention and precision. It will accept a variety of high quality finishes like hard wax oils, stains, varnish, paints etc.

Reusing, reclaiming and recycling materias through local partnerships is one way of contributing to and encouraging a circular economy. Be materially responsible. Why waste when it’s not necessary. Read more about our values.

  • A care instruction document is provided with any online order and bespoke project. You can also read it here.

Our furniture can be safely wiped clean. We will apply a finish to the surface that meets its functional needs and meets your aesthetic desires. We like to encourage hard wearing finishes that are easy to live with, and forgiving to the trials of everyday use. In approaching the choice of finish like this, minimal maintenance is required.

We offer a re-finishing service, at an additional cost, to our customers who would like this. Typically, the surface should not need re finishing unless significantly damaged or worn through inappropriate use.

  • Most furniture made from timber, or timber based materials don’t like to sit in moisture. Spillages will not damage the surface, but will need wiping up in good time.

Where appropriate, water resistant / waterproof glues are used. There is no issue with delamination and you can live comfortably with your furniture, enjoying it rather than fearing its deterioration through normal wear and tear

We provide care instructions with every online order and bespoke project.
